JASON BOURNE (2016) MOVIE REVIEW

JASON BOURNE (2016) 10.0 (out of 5)

jason-bourne-2016-movie-posterFrom the beginning, “JASON BOURNE grabs you and never lets go.”
Unfortunately, that is about all that I am allowed to say about it, due to the embargo in place with film critics until a week from now.

On a personal level, I grew up the grandson and son of a motion picture theatre owner. In fact — three movie houses. By the age of 15, I probably watched more movies than most people will see during their entire lifetime. My playground was the box office, the candy counter, the projection booth and the auditorium.

Fast forward some fifty years to Monday, July 18, 2016. The place is The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The occasion is the American premiere of Universal Pictures’ JASON BOURNE, directed by Paul Greengrass and starring Matt Damon. Imagine the excitement of watching JASON BOURNE together with 4,000 people. Prior to the start of the film, the director introduces his producers and then his actors. Applause throughout the film (especially when we arrive in Las Vegas) I am proud to award 10 Stars (out of 5).

News3LV gave me the honor to interview on the premiere Red Carpet. My place to stand was in-between CCTV (China) and People Magazine. That position made for some great interviews. As the “current longest serving member of the Nevada Homeland Security Commission”, my questions were directed at the theme of JASON BOURNE — Cyber security. As a member of the Las Vegas Film Critics Society, I also wanted to hear feedback of what it is like filming here in Las Vegas.

I was able to interview Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander, Julia Stiles, Raz Ahmed, Ato Essandoh, Gregg Henry and producer, Frank Henry.

I hope you enjoy our 3 minute video.
